This is a before and after photo editing experiment, using the healing tools in Adobe Photoshop. The experiment was to make the original photo more beautiful so images of hair and eyelashes were incorporated and some textured skin has been smoothed over. Pink colours have been overlaid onto the lips for a lipstick effect and small brush strokes have been added to the eyebrows to make them seem thicker. This piece was inspired by Esther Honig’s experiment (Honig, n.d.).
